Opening Shot
It seems there's not a Davenport politics blog on the web anywhere. (my sincere apologies if there is; point me to it and I'll go there instead.) My biased opinion is that there oughta be.
Now I admit I haven't read all the Blogger details, but I'm guessing that I've squatted on this digital turf so I can set the rules however I want to. Really, I just want this to be a civil place which I'll define for now as no vulgar name-calling. But really, this would be a work-in-progress. Hey, like everything else on the web isn't?

- #1 I may only be a fly-on-the-wall, but I'm king here.
- #2 I'm "old school" - insult (if you really have to) but don't be vulgar. I will delete.
- #3 I believe in the notion that we can disagree and yet be able to sit down, share some beer, and enjoy each other's company. Try to act like you believe in the same notion, even if you don't.
- #4 I can change any "rule" anytime. See #1.
